We're seeking a polished, personable, and proactive Front Desk & Customer Service Specialist who will be the welcoming face of our salon and ensure our clients (both two- and four-legged) receive an A experience from start to finish.
Position Summary
The Front Desk & Customer Service Specialist plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service at Serenity Pet Spa. From the moment a client walks through our doors (or calls to book), you set the tone for the entire visit. You’ll be in charge of managing daily scheduling, communication, and ensuring each client leaves feeling confident, cared for, and excited to return.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Service
- Greet clients warmly and professionally — both in-person and over the phone..
- Manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring clear communication about services received, future appointments, and care recommendations.
- Handle customer feedback with grace and problem-solving skills to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow up with clients post-visit to ensure satisfaction and build ongoing relationships.
- Maintain up-to-date client profiles including pet details, service preferences, and notes from the grooming team.
Sales & Communication
- Promote retail products and services aligned with pet wellness and grooming care.
- Support marketing efforts including seasonal promotions, social media engagement, and in-store displays.
- Relay important information to the grooming team to ensure pet needs and owner expectations are met.
Facility & Team Support
- Keep the front area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist with light administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the grooming and management team to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, confident communicator with a warm and professional presence.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, veterinary, salon, or pet-related environment is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with booking software and basic office systems.
