Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Commercial Plumber Helper / Junior Mechanic to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems on commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in the plumbing trade while working alongside experienced plumbers, superintendents, and project managers.
Responsibilities
Assist plumbers with the installation of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components in commercial settings.
Help with material handling, tool setup, and job site preparation.
Perform basic plumbing tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes under supervision.
Learn to read blueprints and understand plumbing layouts.
Support the team in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing systems.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
2-3 years' experience in plumbing is required preferred in commercial but not required.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced plumbers.
Basic knowledge of State and local plumbing code is required
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
Reliable transportation to office and / or job sites
