What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Guest Service Agent position at Serenity Sails?
We’re looking for an energetic, customer-focused concierge to join our team and help guests book and enjoy their next adventure—whether it's setting sail on our 45ft Seamaster Ketch or exploring the water by kayak.
What you’ll do
As the go-to person for bookings and guest experiences, you’ll:
- Manage reservations
- Ensure waivers are completed before guests set out
- Provide an informational safety briefing for kayak rentals—covering navigation, boundary areas and best practices
- Launch kayaks from the beach (yes, you may get a little wet—it's all part of the experience!)
- Operate an inflatable dinghy to assist guests, if needed
- Deliver top-notch customer service, answering questions and creating a seamless experience
- Load and transport kayaks when necessary
Who you are

- Personable & energetic – You love working with people and making their experience great
- Organized & detail-oriented – You’ll ensure bookings and waivers are processed correctly
- Comfortable around boats & water – Experience with sailing, kayaking or marine environments is a plus
- Able to lift and transport kayaks and assist guests as needed
- A team player – You enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment
- Willing to work weekends & holidays – Because that’s when the best adventures happen
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
