The Serenity Spring Senior Living at Jasonville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Exeter PA is seeking a Cook. Candidate must be able to work in fast paced environment and supervise support staff.
Responsibilities of Cook :
- Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as our established policies and procedures
- Follow established Infection Control Precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks
- Assist and direct daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained
- Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to the Food Service Director immediately
- Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times
Requirements of Cook :
- High School Graduate / High school or equivalent
- SERVESAFE Certified
- Cooking background in long-term care facility and / or Culinary Education
- Knowledge of food sanitation and batch cooking
- Long-Term Care Cooking Required : 1 year
