Job Summary :
As the Administrator of Serenity Spring Senior living at Northwood, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintaining a positive environment for both residents and staff. You will play a key role in shaping the quality of care, resident satisfaction, and overall success of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management : Provide effective leadership and management to the facility's staff, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the facility operates in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to health, safety, and resident care.
Financial Management : Oversee the facility's budget, financial performance, and resource allocation, ensuring the efficient use of resources and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
Resident Care : Ensure the highest standards of resident care by implementing and maintaining best practices in long-term care, regularly reviewing and improving care processes, and addressing any concerns promptly.
Staff Development : Recruit, train, and retain a skilled and compassionate staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet resident needs.
Community Relations : Act as the primary liaison between the facility and residents' families, community organizations, and other stakeholders, building and maintaining positive relationships.
Quality Improvement : Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, regularly assessing and enhancing the quality of services provided.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
- Valid state license as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a long-term care or healthcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing LTC facilities.
- Proven financial management skills with experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
