Training Specialist
Purpose
Responsible for collaboratively developing and delivering training programs focused on optimizing operational efficiency and professional development for all areas of the company.
Responsibilities
- Primarily office-based (Roseville) with time spent on the production floor or in various operational settings to observe and train employees working multiple shifts at multiple locations.
- Effectively help develop and deliver companywide training.
- Solid working knowledge of LMS systems.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions, classroom lectures, online, and on-the-job coaching for new hires and existing employees.
- Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
- Ensure employees are properly trained in standard procedures, policies, safety protocols, and technical skills and leadership skills required to perform their roles effectively.
- Create / update training materials, including work instructions, manuals, presentations, online modules, and job aids.
- Monitor trainee progress, assess training effectiveness and adjust training programs as needed.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of operational processes, systems, and equipment to provide accurate training content.
