Serenity Swimming provides high quality private swim lessons to the Frederick, MD area. Serenity Swimming is a small, woman owned/operated business.
Serenity Swimming is hiring high-quality, experienced, fun adult instructors in the Frederick area to start in Summer 2025. Option to work Summer (and holiday breaks if desired) OR year round. Our new indoor facility will be opening early Summer.
Ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience teaching swimming to children, excellent communication skills with both children and parents, and demonstrate maturity. Time management- showing up and starting/ending lessons on time- is a key requirement.
We also understand some amazing instructors may not have 2 years, if this is the case, please apply and explain.
We might be willing to train the right candidate that will continue past summer. Especially those with a teaching, therapy, or working with special needs background.
Requirements reliable vehicle/ drivers license, CPR certification (lifeguard certification ideal), pass background check, and minimum age 18.

Interview process
Step 1: Virtual or in person interview (your choice) (typically 15-30 min)
Step 2: In water interview with 1-2 swim lesson (30-45 min total time)
Please remember you will communicate with parents with a summary of how the lesson went. We will only hire adults able to communicate. Dress like a swim instructor, but please act professional at the interview and in communication!

Pay: $20.00 per hour
