What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Office Assistant position at Serenity Tax Services, Inc.?
Serenity Tax Services is looking for a receptionist/office assistant starting in June who will be responsible for greeting our clients and delivering exceptional customer service. This position will be from 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Thursday in the off season (May through January) during tax season hours will be 8:00am - 8:00pm Monday through Saturday (February 1st through April 15th).
Responsibilities include the following:
* Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner, answer questions & take detailed messages if needed.
* Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner.
* Maintain reception area and office in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
* Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis.
* Receive mail and/or deliveries; sort and distribute.
* Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
* Office filing & preparation of next day appointments (pulling files/cards).
* Prepare new client folders/cards as needed.
* Call and confirm next day appointments.
* Schedule client appointments daily using Outlook.
* Taking over the phone and in person payments.
* Assist clients coming in to sign/pick-up/pay for returns.
* Create new client files as needed.
* Willing to perform out of office errands as needed.
Pay can be either hourly or salary DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
