Live-In Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Full-Time Contractor
Location: On-Site at Residence, Cheyenne, WY (Live-In)

About the Role
This is a unique live-in opportunity where you will reside in a spacious home and provide essential daily support to an individual with intellectual disabilities. As a Live-In Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will ensure their safety, well-being, and independence while following their Individual Plan of Care (IPC).
This role requires on-site presence 24/7, but it does not involve constant work. Your primary duties include prompting, supervising, and assisting as needed. You will enjoy significant personal downtime in a comfortable living environment.
As an independent contractor, you are your own boss and responsible for meeting contractual requirements.

Work Structure
- This is a full-time contractor role, meaning you live on-site and provide support as needed throughout the day.
- The position allows for substantial personal downtime, with 10-12 hours per night for sleep, quiet activities, or personal time.
- Similar to "working from home"—you are present and available but are not constantly engaged in active tasks.
- You cannot leave the individual unattended, so time off must be coordinated with a part-time contractor who provides coverage.
Responsibilities
- Live in the home full-time as part of the individual's care team
- Provide prompting and reminders to encourage independence in daily tasks
- Assist with medication administration, personal care, and household upkeep
- Ensure safety and supervision—the individual cannot be left alone
- Coordinate time off with the part-time contractor providing coverage
- Respond to emergencies or urgent needs as they arise
- Follow the Individual Plan of Care (IPC) to deliver person-centered support
- Adhere to Medicaid Chapter 45 regulations and CARF Standards of Care
- Document all services provided and submit documentation at the end of each month
- Utilize the company’s Therap account for all documentation and reporting
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: Starting at $2,500 per month (independent contractor)

Qualifications
- 18 with a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, DFS check, and OIG exclusion check
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Medication Assistance Training (provided if not already certified)
- Must acquire and maintain de-escalation training (either CPI or MANDT)
- Valid driver’s license, a working vehicle, and active vehicle insurance
- General Liability Insurance required as an independent contractor
- Willingness to follow the IPC, document services, utilize Therap, and coordinate time off with the part-time contractor
