Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide addiction counseling and support to clients through one-on-one sessions and group therapy.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and commitment to recovery.
- Manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic support for clients.
- Facilitate educational workshops on substance abuse prevention and recovery strategies.
- Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification or licensure in addiction counseling is highly desirable.
- Experience in behavioral health or mental health counseling is a plus.
- Strong skills in crisis management and the ability to handle high-stress situations effectively.
- Proficiency in coding for medical records is an advantage.
