Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant – Family Office will ensure the integrity of tax, accounting and reporting information for certain assets of the family and foundation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform daily, monthly and other periodic accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to preparing journal entries, spreadsheets, and account reconciliations; drafting financial statements and other projects as assigned.

Complete federal and multi-state partnership, partnership, trust, foundation, fiduciary and individual income and gift tax returns, some complex.

Responsible for the integrity of the general ledger and financial statements of assigned entities, ensuring a timely and accurate close is completed.

Maintain various management and financial reporting schedules for the assigned entities including summaries of key budget to actual variances and tracking of capital expenditure costs.

Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets for the assigned entities.

Prepare and/or review payment requests associated with the assigned entities.

Coordinate with the tax team for the preparation of the year-end tax schedules and workpapers.

Coordinate with the treasury team to forecast anticipated cash needs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Minimum two years of work experience in tax and accounting

CPA designation is preferred, but not required

Must be detail oriented

Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook

Proven experience successfully multitasking

Possess strong collaborative and communication skills
