What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver - Giuseppi's Shelter Bluffton position at SERG Restaurant Group?
Deliver orders and collect payment from customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner representative of the high standards of our restaurant.
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of The SERG Restaurant Group.
- Make deliveries of our product to residential and commercial locations.
- Generate an efficient and timely delivery route that minimizes customer wait times when delivering more than one order.
- Record completed delivery orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register or POS system.
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).
- Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas associated with the job function.
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to the restaurant manager.
- Assist with answering phones, taking orders, and preparing orders, as needed.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of product and supplies as stipulated in the shift duties.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests? needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
