What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Intern position at Series?
We are seeking highly motivated and diligent college students to join our Business Development team at Series. This unpaid internship position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Yale's only student-founded entrepreneurial podcast turned startup, enabling college founders to grow and scale their ventures through our Beta Al Startup Mentor with a warm network of startup services.
As a business development intern, you will be responsible for engaging with our Startup Mentor, Vera, and our app to determine methods to improve our interface, shape future features of Series's app, and help entrepreneurs find the resources they need to grow their journeys.
Responsibilities:
• Direct Communication with Series
Engineers: Regularly communicate with Series executives and engineers to test Series's app, including timeline formation, interacting with Vera, and integrative app features.
- Weekly Check-ins: Check in with the executive team of Series weekly to offer suggestions on business development strategies, including ways to bring Series to campuses and refine app functionality.
- Business Development
- Assignments: Support company-wide goals for business development, marketing, and expansion through campus research, fostering online engagement, and brainstormingresearch, fostering online engagement, and brainstorming growth tactics.
• Time Commitment: 5 hours a week
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate college student
- Strong communication skills
- Able to respond to communication from the executive team promptly
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable to new ideas and goals
- Strong problem-solving skills
