Job Description:
The client Seeking Senior Technical Specialist with Cogito Fundamentals & access data model certification for EHR access business intelligence development associated with an EHR build project for client facilities.
Business Intelligence Developers (BIDs) create revenue analytics content for end users and third parties who require Epic data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and test Epic-released and Foundation System content for all applications, including Reporting Workbench, Slicer Dicer data models, Radar dashboards, Cogito SQL
- Create content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle
- Write SQL and configure Radar settings for custom SQL metrics
- Modify existing reports as necessary
- Distribute analytics content to data consumers
- Review peer reports for validity
- Work with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers
Skills:
- Certified by Epic in: Cogito Fundamentals and Access Data Model-Required-5-Years
- Experience with EHR access business intelligence development in Epic using analytics tools-Required-5-Years
- Health IT business intelligence development experience-Required-5-Years
- A degree in engineering, physics, computer sciences, math, information systems, or statistics-Highly desired- -
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Required- -
- Critical thinking and analytical and proactive problem-solving skills-Required- -
- Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts-Required-7-Years
- Ability to understand data structures that could benefit the entire data environment-Required- -
