What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineering Internship position at Serigraph?
Serigraph is a leading global provider of innovative decorative and functional printing solutions serving a wide range of industries including automotive, consumer goods, healthcare, and more. As part of our continuous improvement efforts, we are implementing a new ERP system, PLEX, and are seeking a motivated Quality Engineering Intern to assist with this transition during the summer of 2025.
This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality systems and ERP implementation within a manufacturing environment. The primary focus of this role will be building Control Plans in Serigraph’s new PLEX ERP system to support quality assurance and compliance efforts.
\n- Develop and input Control Plans into the PLEX ERP system based on existing quality documentation.
- Review part specifications, prints, and existing quality plans to ensure accurate data transfer.
- Work closely with Quality Engineers and other team members to validate Control Plan content.
- Assist with quality system documentation updates related to the PLEX implementation.
- Support other quality-related activities as needed, particularly if working full-time.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across quality records and ERP entries.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of Control Plans and quality documentation is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with ERP systems is helpful.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
