**2nd Shift Opportunity**
*Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm*
*$1 shift premium*
Serigraph is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate both manual and automated sewing machines, ensuring that all fabric products meet quality, color, and dimensional specifications. The ideal candidate will have prior sewing experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to efficiency and teamwork. In this role, you will play a key part in Serigraph’s continued success by ensuring precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship in every stitch.
\n- Operate single-stitch and double-stitch sewing machines.
- Apply keder, zippers, Velcro, hemming, and pockets as per work orders.
- Perform test fits of sewn products on frames and hardware when required.
- Adjust and troubleshoot sewing equipment as needed.
- Verify that all products meet artwork, color, and dimensional specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring proper assembly and measurements.
- Accurately report defects or deviations to supervision.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to complete work efficiently.
- Use measuring instruments, small hand tools, and other equipment correctly.
- Maintain records in the ERP system or other required computer programs.
- Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety by following environmental and safety procedures.
- Keep a neat, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Effectively manage time and communicate within a team environment.
- Prior experience with manual and/or automated sewing machines.
- Ability to take accurate measurements using a yardstick, tape measure, or other tools.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and enter data into a computer system.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
