Serioplast is looking for a Senior Technologist for our plants in St. Louis, Missouri.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The Senior Technologist reports to the Technical Manager. The purpose of this position is to guarantee production continuity and product conformity by ensuring process stability.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Given his technical experience, is a reference point for the Technologists and supports the Technical Manager in managing priorities, eliminating bottlenecks and addressing critical issues
- Sets product recipes ensuring necessary regulations and PLC parameters are in place, makes necessary mechanical and electronic adjustments, controls production variables to ensure product specifications are met
- Actively performs investigations and troubleshooting in order to solve quality issues
- Trains and supports production staff to help them solve minor technical problems affecting the quality of the bottle
- Carries out the electromechanical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning, driers, leak test, cameras, palletizers, etc.)
- Finds solutions by fabricating mechanical or other parts to address production or technical issues and to improve machine performance
- Supports the Technical Manager in improvement projects and decisions on machines, equipment, molds and processes
