Serra Auto Park is interviewing applicants for a part time parts delivery driver. This position is Monday and Friday from 10am – 4pm. This is a great position for someone looking to make a little extra cash, someone bored at home, retired or just want to keep occupied. The position duties include but are not limited to:

· Safe operation of company truck
· Loading and unloading of automotive related parts (up to 50 lbs. at times)
· Customer service
· Invoice and receipt collection and filing
· Effective spoken communication with customers and fellow associates
· Some cash handling
· Miscellaneous duties as requested

Summary

Responsibilities
- Safely drive delivery routes to transport automotive parts to various locations.
- Load and unload parts from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and staff.
- Assist in organizing the parts department as needed, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive parts is a plus but not required.
