- Initiates automotive services and repairs by determining performance problems and services requested.
- Verifies warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, writing repair orders, and maintaining customer rapport and records.
- Listening and documenting customer descriptions of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, conducting inspections, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
- Keeping customers informed of their vehicle’s repair progress during service visit.
- Prepares repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required, including service estimate.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and parts
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Computer and phone skills
- 1 year of previous experience required.
