Job Summary:
The Automotive Sales Associate at Serra Chevrolet is responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong product knowledge. The Sales Associate will work full time and receive a salary in the auto industry. This individual contributor role will be based in Birmingham, Alabama.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Understand and effectively communicate the features and benefits of all vehicles to potential customers
- Conduct test drives and walk customers through the sales process, including pricing negotiations and financing options
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or questions
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Stay up-to-date on current automotive trends and industry knowledge to provide accurate and reliable information to customers
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and address any post-sale needs
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to meet overall dealership goals and objectives
- Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sales experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficient in using technology and computer systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
