Private Swim Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Private Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming. As a Private Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages in swimming techniques, ensuring their safety, and promoting a positive learning environment. Your role will also involve implementing behavior management strategies to foster an enjoyable experience for all participants. Pool is heated to 86 degrees

Duties

• Teach swimming techniques to students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
• Develop lesson plans that cater to the needs and abilities of each student.
• Monitor students during lessons to ensure safety and proper technique.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their skills.
• Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and respectful learning environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in swimming and teaching
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively.
• Ability to engage with students of all ages and skill levels while fostering a supportive atmosphere.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, or Lifeguarding is a plus but not mandatory at the time of application; candidates must be willing to obtain certifications if hired.
• A positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching are essential qualities for this role.
