Compensation : $27 / HR - $36 / HR

What You’ll Do :

As a Maintenance Lead , you’ll lead the way in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include :

Leadership :

Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.

Assign and prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines.

Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Technical Expertise :

Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulic presses, sewing machines, and other specialized machinery.

Oversee facility maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.

Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.

Utilize CMMS software to maintain accurate records and schedules.

Continuous Improvement :

Identify opportunities to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs.

Partner with engineering and production teams to implement new machinery and processes.

Monitor and manage energy efficiency and facility safety standards.

Budget & Compliance :

Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies to minimize downtime.

Oversee the maintenance budget and recommend cost-effective solutions.

Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and environmental regulations.

Conduct safety training and risk assessments, including lockout / tagout and arc flash procedures.

What You’ll Bring to the Team :

High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree preferred).

At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with 2 years in a leadership role . Experience in the bedding industry is a plus!

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and maintenance software.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and inspire your team.

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.

Physical Demands :

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Comfortable working in industrial environments with varying conditions (heat, cold, and noise).
