Job Type:
- Full-Time Only
- Exceptional CNA to patient ratio of 1:3 while partnered with a full-time LPN.
- Working day or night 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends.
- Work in well-appointed homes managed and owned by Sertoma (not home health).
Compensation:
- $16.50 an hour with a $0.50 differential for night shifts.

CNA Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain up-to-date posting of medical information and ensure a hazard-free workspace.
- Participate in routine training within the residences to stay informed on best practices and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Support residents in following dietary menus and post all menus/special diets for easy access for other staff.
- Assist with the distribution of medications and other medical treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain weekly medication counts and reorder supplies as necessary according to agency policy and procedures; report any medication errors.
- Document care and observations accurately and timely in resident records.
- Attend circles of support, monthly staff meetings, and in-services to provide input on care plans and collaborate with the team.
- Work closely with all pertinent staff as a team member to ensure the highest standards and best quality of life for the residents.
- As an CNA, you will also aid our persons served by providing them with an opportunity to live the life in the community they deserve, encouragement and guidance throughout their day-to-day life.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Current CNA certification
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- US Work Authorization
- Valid TN Driver's License
- 3 years clean driving history
- No prior felony convictions
