Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Access to Care, the Clinical Data Analyst position will be responsible for managing and analyzing clinical data to support our organization's decision-making processes, improve patient outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. The Clinical Data Analyst will work closely with healthcare providers, clinical teams, IT professionals, and executive stakeholders to ensure data integrity and optimize the use of analytics, KPI reporting and Electronic Health Record (EHR) system data extraction. This position is fully onsite at our corporate headquarters in Hamilton, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze clinical data from various sources, including EHR systems, and other business intelligence platforms used by the organization.
- Develop and maintain databases and data collection systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Design and implement EHR templates to capture relevant clinical data efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure templates meet clinical and operational needs.
- Optimize existing templates based on feedback and evolving requirements.
- Generate and distribute regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support clinical and operational decision-making.
- Develop and maintain performance measurement tools and systems.
- Work with E.H.R. stakeholders, IT, and clinical staff to troubleshoot data issues and implement solutions.
- Train and support healthcare providers in the use of EHR templates and data reporting tools.
- Participate in cross functional teams and projects to support data driven initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards, including HIPAA.
- Implement and adhere to data security protocols to protect sensitive patient information.
- Other responsibilities as assigned or as needed to support department or organizational goals.
