Service Technician

Servco, the leading boiler service and sales company in Utah and the Intermountain West is currently seeking an experienced BOILER SERVICE TECHNICIAN.

Prior experience in an industrial and commercial setting is required. We do not service the residential market. We are looking for someone with experience in servicing both steam and hot water boiler systems. If you have had experience working in the commercial and industrial HVAC field as well, we will consider this experience. We are looking for 3-5 years of experience in the field of servicing boilers, burners, and boiler systems. This experience should include, but is not limited to troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing firetube and watertube boilers and burners. The ability to follow directions and learn on the job is required. Mechanical troubleshooting skills are also required. A qualified person should be able to understand and be able to work with flame safeguards, variable speed drives (VSD), control valves, actuators, loop controllers, motors, and industrial PLC's. Experience with pumps and piping systems is also required. We work on all brands of industrial and commercial boilers and burners, including Cleaver Brooks, Superior, Nebraska Boiler, Johnston, Hurst, Fulton, Aerco, Lochinvar, Powerflame, Todd, Coen, Industrial Combustion, Natcom, Weishaupt, Limpsfield, etc.

Great communications skills and a professional appearance are also required as we interface daily with customers in the field. Email and computer skills are also required. Many of our systems, including startup and PM reports, etc. are digital, and require the ability to work with these systems. Travel within the region is often required, as we service all of the state of Utah, Southeastern Idaho, and Western Wyoming. We are looking for an honest, hardworking, self-starting individual, and someone who can work with minimal supervision and with a keen attention to detail.

We offer VERY competitive starting wages based upon skill level (between $35-45 per hour depending on experience), company service vehicle, paid travel and expenses, great PTO packages, as well as a full benefits package (including 401k matching).
