Overview:
We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our facility. Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and operating cleaning equipment
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Janitor or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
