Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to high standards of hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or event preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills; able to follow instructions clearly.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
