Cleaning is completed 4 evening a week usually on Mon, Tue, Thur, & Fri - this is for 1.5 hours each of those evenings.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and safe for occupants. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to meet organizational standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required.
