As Senior Product Designer at Serve, you will primarily work on our internal operational tools to ensure that our robots complete their deliveries in a safe & timely manner.

You will lead the design effort to continuously improve our delivery and fleet management tools, so that we can keep up with our rapidly growing fleet size and delivery demands.

As an experienced designer in a very small team, you ll also be juggling multiple projects and will pitch in on any urgent design requests as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end user experiences that balances user needs, business goals, and engineering constraints/resources

• Lead the iterative design effort of our robot delivery & fleet management tools

• Drive design research for the entire product development cycle from discovery to post production iteration

• Manage design priorities/deliverables in an ambiguous and dynamic environment

• Work directly with Product, Operations, Engineering, and QA to identify the right problems to solve and achieve cross-functional team alignment

• Collaborate with the rest of the design team to evolve our design systems, guidelines, and process

• Assist as needed in miscellaneous design projects outside of our core digital products, such as on-robot advertisement campaigns and hardware industrial design

Qualifications

• Portfolio with examples of complex design challenges that highlight your design process

• 7 years of experience designing shipped products with measurable business outcomes

• Experience designing dashboard, tracking, or data management tools

• Adept with all phases of product design, including research, prototyping, testing, UI QA, and post-launch design iteration

• Ability to define complex user flow with multiple unhappy paths

• Comfortable communicating design requirements and rationales to cross functional teams as well as external partners

• Fluency in Figma and experience working with design systems
  

What Makes You Standout

• Experience with robots, autonomous vehicles, or drones

• Experience working with hardware design or mechanical engineering team

• Graphic design skills and experience with brand marketing or advertising

• 3D animation skills

Compensation Range: $150K - $200K
