\n- Ensure that all MEP plant and distribution infrastructure is operated and maintained in a safe manner, to best industry practice and within manufacturers recommendations.
- Monitor power and environmental conditions within all critical spaces within the facility.
- Perform assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with SF practices utilizing the internal CMMS.
- Assist with planning and scheduling corrective maintenance activities
- Escort and support outside contractors, ensuring they are abiding SF work rules and processes
- Respond to site incidents, execute appropriate MOP/EOP documentation to resolve and/or mitigate issues and communicate to manage throughout event.
- Support and follow all SF Change Control policies and procedures.
- Perform site rounds and report any issues found to site management.
- Participate in construction and commissioning activities as directed by site management
- Adhere to all local, state and federal safety laws and requirements
- Complete other duties as assigned by the management team
- Participate in and support MOP/SOP/EOP documentation process for site.
- Participate in and support the development of site policies and standards
- Work with site team members to deliver 100% uptime of critical infrastructure
- 2-year degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
- Experience working in a Data Center with proven success in delivering customer requirements in a critical technology environment.
- Journeyman or equivalent in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
- Critical infrastructure experience. For example, generators, UPS, Mechanical cooling equipment, switchgear etc.
- Mechanical or Electrical service experience.
- Relevant Military technical training ie. Navy nuclear, aviation technicians, or electronic training.
- Operating and maintaining chilled water-cooling systems
- Operating and maintaining DX cooling systems
- Operating and maintaining backup electrical systems such as UPS and generators
- Operating Building Management systems and Fire alarm and detection systems
- Building facility maintenance
