Overview
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Plumbing Foreman/Project Manager to oversee and coordinate plumbing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, plumbing experience and knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role requires proficiency in construction management software and a solid understanding of OSHA regulations, ensuring all projects are executed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Track project progress, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare detailed project estimates and budgets, adjusting as necessary based on project developments.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to review schematics and resolve any design discrepancies.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong plumbing skills and knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
