Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Program Director, this person is responsible for the oversight and operation of the assigned unit. This person will ensure compliance through ongoing monitoring of job performance, compliance monitoring calls, and consumer files and by planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating program outcomes. Duties are provided in accordance with all existing policies, procedures, and regulations and in accord with the mission and values of the company. This position has been designated to be a part of the County's CYS workforce for purposes exclusive to the proper handling of consumer information as is required by SAM privacy policies.

Education & Experience:
Preferred three years of experience in Children and Youth or related field; and a master's degree in social work or social welfare; or Three years of professional social work experience, including one year in a consultative, administrative, advisory, or lead work capacity; or a master's degree in social work or social welfare; or a bachelor's degree in human services field with experience may be considered.
Employment Requirements:
Automobile and Valid Insurance, Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check, Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Social Security Card, Immigration and Naturalization (I-9), Drug Screening Clearance
Working Conditions:
Predominately in-office work within an open environment. Travel throughout the assigned region may occur and may be in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

Supervision, Coaching, & Training.
- Support, coach, and train (as needed) assigned casework staff. Ensure that assisted caseworkers complete required work and that assignments are completed and achieve desired standards for compliance and quality. As needed, recommend training to enhance skill and professional development.
- Ensure assigned work is complete and meets desired standards for compliance and quality. Review assigned work and as needed make recommendations for improvement. Ensure that current policies and procedures are adhered to and as needed educate staff regarding relevant policies and procedures. Collaborate with other team members to identify trends and offer recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with assigned team members and colleagues to ensure that program objectives and outcomes are achieved. As part of the collaborative process, facilitate and attend department and team meetings, training sessions, other meetings as deemed necessary.
- Monitor contracts as appropriate and required. Ensure that required local, state, and federal reporting requirements are completed including ensuring that any program/department/unit specific
Coverage & Availability.
- Ensure adequate coverage within the unit. When needed, assist, and serve as a caseworker if necessary and be certified to do so. After hours work may be necessary.
