Job Summary:
As a Pre-ETS Coordinator, you'll empower students with disabilities by guiding them through essential pre-employment skills and work-based learning experiences. Your role is to inspire confidence, promote independence, and bridge the gap between education and meaningful employment opportunities.
We are looking for a Part Time Pre-ETS Coordinator in our Employment Services program in the Island County and Burlington area.
Wage: $21.25-$22.75
Program: #16
Locations: Island and Snohomish County
Shifts:
Monday-Friday, 20-40hrs per week
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation, social work, human services, counseling, education, or a related field and
- One year of experience providing services to individuals with disabilities in a community or classroom setting (additional graduate coursework in a relevant field may substitute for the required experience).
- Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check
Licensing and Certifications:
- Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid license (paid by SA)
- Current driver license, car, and car insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Special Education or Vocational Rehabilitation: Proven background in working with students with disabilities, particularly in educational or career development settings.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively connect with students, educators, and employers, fostering meaningful relationships.
- Knowledge of Transition Planning: Familiarity with the transition process from school to work, including understanding IEPs, 504 plans, and accommodations.
- Networking: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with local employers to create work-based learning opportunities for students.
- Cultural Competency: Ability to work with diverse populations and adapt services to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate events, and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Proficiency in communicating effectively with students, families, educators, and community partners.
