Hours Per Day:
8 hours; 7am - 3:30pm
SUMMARY
Assists the Utility Department in performance of duties necessary to keep the physical plants of the MPS district in good repair.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (must be 18 years of age)
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A Valid ND Driver’s License is required.

SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Perform grounds maintenance using push and riding lawn mowers, weed trimmers, gas and manual tree trimmer
- Ability to work with underground and manual irrigation equipment
- Willing to work with various herbicides, pesticides and other chemical applications
- Assist the utility department with the installation of playground equipment, concrete and asphalt work
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. The Utility Department moves school furniture and equipment throughout the district
- Knowledge and observance of safety precautions. Must be able to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to work well and get along with peers, building staff members and general public
- Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance director
