Must haves:

- Experience with 5-ton and 10-ton overhead crane
- Able to reach, stoop, bend, and lift, up to 50 lbs. daily and 75 lbs. occasionally
- Work effectively in very hot and cold temperatures
- Basic math skills, advanced problem-solving, ability to multi-task, analytical skills
- High School Graduate or GED
Job Duties:
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean orderly work areas
- Assists in the sawing of extrusions into shorter lengths
- Measure dimensions, print bundle tags, report production, identify product
- Understands material orders and aluminum alloys while maintaining accurate traceability by customer order
- Unloads age ovens and separate the extrusions. “stages add-ons at the correct loads”
- Stages loads for the next day. They make sure the loads are safe, neatly stacked and are in the correct locations.
- Wraps extrusions that need wrapping before shipment.
- Collaborates with lab TM’s about the hot items on the ovens and helps with trapped samples.
- Helps Supervisors, with lab techs, when needed to retrieve any rework items in the racks.
- Transports age oven carts to production.
- Actively participates in performing safety observations and engages in watching out for everyone’s safety.
- Assist in other areas and departments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
