Responsibilities
Do I have What it Takes?
- Serve clients by analyzing and performing on work orders; gathers components, parts, and tools to complete installation
- Remove, sanitize, seal and blow in insulation
- Maintain rapport with customers, communicate details or work being performed and educate on use of new system(s)
- Document service and installation by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records.
- Excel with a team environment, and be willing to support all areas of our business outside of just insulation as needed, including HVAC installation and maintenance, and general labor
- Complete all tasks in accordance with Service Champions quality and safety standards
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
Qualifications
Do I Have What It Takes?
- 1-year experience installing insulation, insulation extraction and air sealing is preferred but not required
- Knowledgeable of the materials being installed and the proper handling of the materials and equipment
- Ability to converse with homeowners in a positive manner
- Safety is number one at Service Champions so you should be a safety conscious individual!
- Work with a high degree of integrity and promote positive image for our company
- Have a strong desire to grow and take your skill set to the next level
- Willing to work in confined spaces (i.e. attics, crawl spaces)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time - loading hopper, utilizing the vacuum to extract, navigating the hose for blown-in insulation and bending over to seal air penetrations
