What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Install Apprentice position at Service Champions Inc?
We are hiring a Plumbing Install Apprentice. At our company we offer the opportunity to start a new career in Plumbing, you will receive training from our best experienced plumbers/technicians. No experience is required. Our goal is to train you to be the best Plumber/Technician in San Diego.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with an experienced plumber to install residential plumbing fixtures and piping.
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring)
- Use various plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
- Complete all tasks in accordance with company quality and safety standards
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work with tools
- Satisfactory passing of pre-employment screens and physical
- Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions

WORK CONDITIONS:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
- Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
- Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
- Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
