What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Systems Administrator position at Service Electric Company?
The Safety Systems Administrator supports the administration of various safety systems and programs utilized within the Safety Department, including data entry and AED management. The position supports the Safety department to ensure compliance with certain Safety programs.
POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Data Entry and Reporting
Assist in the management of Origami, SEC’s incident management system, including data validation, generating weekly and monthly reports if applicable, and performing user troubleshooting. You would compile data for safety meetings, internal reporting, and external systems like ISNetworld, VERO, and Avetta. Additionally, you will support the generation of safety performance reports and assist with trending analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Support AED management by ensuring that devices are tracked, properly maintained, and fully operational. This may include monitoring their location, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Help create and deliver user training materials for Origami, Quanta Performance Center (QPC), and assist in conducting training sessions for new and existing users if needed.
Assist in the management of Quanta Performance Center (QPC), the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) which is a product of Cornerstone, by assisting with training programs, training data entry, data validation, user management, and troubleshooting.
You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for report generation, scheduling, and communication as well proficient / familiar with Adobe products. You should also be eager to learn other systems, such as data visualization / analytical tools (Microsoft Power BI), Origami, QPC, and any other systems that will expand technical expertise and cater to the success of the Safety Department.
Assist with SharePoint site administration, corporate meetings, new hire orientations if needed, OSHA reporting, and storm-related activities if needed. You will also ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures and contribute to ongoing safety initiatives. Provide overall administrative support for the Safety Training Department.
