You'll gain valuable experience in event logistics, brand coordination, customer onboarding, marketing campaigns, and inventory management—developing key skills while working alongside a dynamic team to enhance our customer and brand experience.

What does a Customer and Brand Experience Intern do?

  • Gain hands-on experience in swag sourcing by working with trusted vendors, managing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. You'll learn to apply brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all promotional items, reinforcing brand integrity at events and customer touchpoints. Additionally, you'll assist in maintaining our swag inventory database, tracking event locations, costs, and stock levels. This role also involves managing inventory for tours, onsite experiences, and team requests, while researching trending swag ideas to keep our offerings fresh and engaging.
  • You will play a hands-on role in preparing for events, assisting with the packing and shipping of materials, including swag, booths, and essential equipment. This includes learning how to effectively manage event inventory, from conducting pre-event counts to verifying the return of all materials post-event. You’ll gain valuable experience in logistics, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
  • You will learn the inner workings of organizing and executing customer site tours, helping with scheduling, preparation, and follow-ups. This will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure that tours run smoothly and leave a lasting impression on our guests.
  • Assist in the end-to-end process of customer onboarding by ensuring every new customer receives an onboarding package tailored to their specific business needs. You'll develop an understanding of fulfillment processes across multiple business lanes, ensuring a consistent and high-quality onboarding experience.
  • Develop a strong understanding of how our Marketo CRM operates, including customer segmentation and campaign performance analysis to optimize marketing efforts. You’ll assist with managing distribution lists, refining data quality, and supporting various customer communication initiatives to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Qualtrics, our survey platform, and learn how we execute monthly NPS (Net Promoter Score) campaigns. You'll develop an understanding of survey design, data collection, and analysis to help drive customer insights and improve overall experience strategies.
  • Gain experience using Monday.com to help organize and track team assets, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient workflow management across marketing initiatives.

What we are hoping you can bring to the Service Express team...

  • Currently enrolled in a marketing or related degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Exposure to Canva and Monday.com is a plus
  • Ability to adapt and be resourceful within a rapidly changing environment
  • Eagerness to learn and problem solve
  • Time management and communication skills
  • Passion for experience marketing and event coordination

Other

  • Salary range $18-$20/hr
  • Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office required (Tuesday - Thursday in office, Monday and Friday remote)
