Summary
As a Fitness Instructor at Service First of Northern California, you will play a vital role in educating and motivating individuals to achieve their fitness goals. This position, located in Stockton, California, is essential in fostering a supportive environment that promotes health, wellness, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized training program
- Supervise fitness floor to maximize the efficiency of the workout
- Ensure proper and safe training
- Provide motivation for each consumer
- Educate consumers concerning safe exercise techniques
- Perform first workout/orientations
- Aid consumers - spotting and equipment usage
- Explain all equipment
- Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness and safety of all equipment
- Adhere to center's policies and procedures
- Attend staff meeting
- Participate in initial assessment process of consumer's abilities by completing the 1-2 hour assessment process
- Complete staff training on the proper use of the equipment and proper supervision techniques
Requirements:
- B.S. Exercise Science (or related field) and/or national certification (ACE, ADAA, ACMS, NSCA)
- CPR/ First Aid Certification
