POSITION – Service First Staffing is looking to hire multiple Operators and General Labors for a food production company in Belgium, WI. Job Location: Belgium, WI
Pay: $17.00/hr
Hours- 4:30AM to end anywhere from 2:30pm to 5pm (start and end time may vary depending on production needs)
Employment type: Temporary
Shift: 1st shift: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday= production days
Tuesday and Friday = short days to prepare products
Job duties:
Operator:
- Responsible for setting up machines, operating, monitoring, and producing high quality products
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor production process
- Ability to make machine adjustments to improve performance
- Ability to complete production document paperwork accurately
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to recognize when a machine is not working correctly
- Inspect products regularly to identify any defects
- Report on any quality concerns to supervisor
- Clean work area after production is completed= sanitation
General Labor:
- Feed raw materials onto production line, and correct quantities onto product
- Inspect product and materials for any foreign substances
- Operate packaging, processing, lot dating, and verifying correct labels on products
- Perform quality checks on production line, change overs, and cleaning
- Able to set up, adjust and operate the packaging equipment: make boxes, packaged items, stack products on pallet and palletize
- Perform general housekeeping including, sweeping, removing cardboard, garbage bags, washing containers, totes, knives, dishware, etc
- Support other team members
Requirements:
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide= count
- Able to lift, bend, twist, turn, pull
- Basic computer skills
- Good problem solving and mental challenges
- Must be able to work in the cold and in food production
- Forklift experience is a plus
