Immediate need. Full time- temp to hire with growing employer. Great schedule- only work 7 days every 2 weeks. Will work 7 AM- 7 PM. 3 days 1 week, 4 days next week. (36 hours week 1; 48 hours ( 8 hours OT) week 2. Set schedule. Starting wage $19/hr.
Job Summary
This position involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and analyzing data to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The Quality Technician reports to production group leaders.
Ideal candidate has some experience doing quality control in a manufacturing environment; however we will train someone with job stability.
Duties
- Perform tests on finished goods
- Report test results accordingly
- Process all required paperwork
- Enter info/test data into database
- Make suggestions on how to improve process
- Follow all GMP and safety procedures
Experience/skills
- Previous experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- HS diploma or GED
- Must read, write and speak English.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Work with good dexterity and stand/bend/twist for majority of shift.
- Adapt to changes as needed and work with limited supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining independent responsibilities.
