Key Responsibilities:
- Research local regulations and requirements to identify necessary permits and licenses for projects.
- Gather and complete required paperwork, forms, and supporting documents for permit applications.
- Submit permit applications to relevant government agencies or departments in a timely manner.
- Track the progress of permit applications and follow up with authorities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and government agencies regarding permit statuses and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permit conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of permits obtained, expiration dates, renewal requirements, and other pertinent information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a relevant field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations and permit processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office or similar software.
