The Warehouse Coordinator ensures the efficient daily operation of the warehouse by managing inventory, overseeing warehouse maintenance, and coordinating logistics. This role involves handling the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, equipment, and supplies, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Management :
Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and storage areas.
Inventory Control :
Manage inventory levels, including parts requisitions, stock replenishments, and purchase order creation and follow-up.
Logistics Coordination :
Schedule and oversee truck and warehouse inventories to ensure accurate stock levels and timely distribution.
Yard Management :
Supervise the maintenance of the yard, including managing scrap and waste, and coordinating pickup and disposal.
Uniforms and Consignment :
Manage the inventory and distribution of uniforms.
Warranty and Claims :
Handle warranty submissions and track the status of claims.
Stock Handling and Inspection :
Pack and unpack items, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
Safety and Compliance :
Follow and enforce safety procedures, maintaining compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Team Collaboration :
Actively participate in team activities and professional development opportunities.
Administrative Duties :
Maintain accurate records of inventory and operational activities.
Additional Responsibilities :
