What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Coordinator position at SERVICE MINDS LLC?
As a Warranty Coordinator, you play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of parts and labor warranty claims, contributing to the success of Service Minds by maintaining quality assurance and vendor relationships. This is a full time in office role at our Bradenton Location.
General Accountabilities
- Use field software to locate completed jobs with warranty-eligible parts and labor, thoroughly reviewing job line items, job notes, pictures, and service history to compile and submit warranty claims.
- Accurately process warranty claims for parts, equipment, and labor within designated timeframes.
- Review customer data to verify current warranty information.
- Utilize vendor platforms to confirm or retrieve warranty details.
- Update field software to reflect paid warranty claims and apply payments accurately in both field and accounting software.
- Communicate with Branch Managers regarding the proper disposal or scrapping of parts and equipment processed through warranty claims.
- Collaborate with Branch Managers and technicians to obtain additional data or clarify details necessary for claim submissions.
- Follow up with vendors on outstanding or denied claims and take corrective actions as needed.
- Update and maintain customer warranty information in the field software as new details are identified.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warranty processes and operational efficiency.
