We are seeking an Assistant General Counsel to provide legal guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and represent the agency in administrative and judicial proceedings. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex legal matters that impact state operations.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Serve as first- and second-chair in administrative hearings and litigation
✔ Provide legal counsel on policy, contracts, privacy laws, and regulatory compliance
✔ Draft legal opinions, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
✔ Analyze legislation and advise leadership on legal impacts
✔ Represent the agency in state and federal court proceedings
✔ Collaborate with internal teams and government entities on legal matters
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma
✅ Minimum 2 years of legal experience
✅ Strong research, writing, and litigation skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Experience in administrative law, contracts, litigation, or government law (preferred)
