We are seeking an experienced and dedicated High-Rise Glazier to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing glass on high-rise buildings and be comfortable working at significant heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, replace, and repair glass on high-rise buildings (up to 40 stories or more).
- Measure and cut glass to specifications and ensure a precise fit.
- Operate tools such as caulking guns, harnishes, and grabs with proficiency.
- Safely use ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated platforms to complete tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Perform inspections and quality checks on installed glass to ensure the highest standards.
- Work closely with other team members, contractors, and project managers to ensure efficient project completion.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Comfortable working at heights: Must be able to safely work up to 40 stories or higher.
- Experience as a glazier: Prior experience in high-rise glass installation or similar construction work is preferred.
- Own tools: Candidates must have their own tools, including a caulking gun, harnish, and grab.
- OSHA Certification: Certification in OSHA safety standards is highly beneficial. Candidates with other relevant safety training will be considered.
- Physical stamina: Ability to work long hours and carry out physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to detail: Must have a keen eye for precision and high-quality workmanship.
- Team player: Ability to work well within a team to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 Certification.
- Experience with curtain wall, window framing, or other high-rise glass systems.
