What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Service Professor?
Service Professor is excited to expand our team with the addition of a dedicated Dispatcher. As a key member of our service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication and coordination between our technicians and customers.
This position will be Monday - Friday from 10am to 6pm onsite in Grand Rapids.
What Will You Do?
- Dispatch the right technician to the right job to maximize every opportunity
- Resolve client concerns in a timely manner with 5-star quality customer service
- Communicate between the technicians, clients, and department managers to ensure everyone is communicated with efficiently
- Record the results of each service call and create report summaries for management
- Serve as an integral link in establishing customer rapport, converting clients into customers for a lifetime
- Participate in training to boost sales and ensure quick, accurate dispatch of incoming orders
- Provide timely updates to customers throughout the day on the technician’s progress
What Does It Take?
- 2 years of leadership or scheduling experience, home services experience preferred
- Ability to type at least 35 wpm
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently in a high-paced environment
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate computer and telecommunication skills
- Capacity to learn Service Professor's business systems
