Position Overview:
The Sewer & Drain Consultant works closely with the Sales Lead and Install Coordinator and works directly with the Sewer Manager to maintain the department’s budget and performance. The Sewer Salesperson will aid in achieving sales KPIs including department sales and capacity goals. The Salesperson will listen to our customers, work with them to determine the best services and new equipment to meet their needs.
A Typical Day Looks Like:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identifying and pursuing new leads through various channels such as referrals, cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, and networking events.
- Consultative Selling: Conducting thorough assessments of homeowners' sewer systems to understand their specific requirements and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Presentation and Proposal: Preparing and delivering compelling sales proposals to educate homeowners about our services and demonstrate the value proposition.
- Negotiation and Closing: Utilizing effective sales techniques to overcome objections, negotiating terms, and closing deals with homeowners.
- Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries, and following up post-sale to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and timely resolution of customer issues.
- Market Intelligence: Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for business growth and maintain a competitive edge.
What Does It Take?
- 3 years proven track record of success in residential sales, preferably in the in residential/light commercial plumbing and sewer systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven with a passion for sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Clear background check, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and drug screen.
