What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Service Technician/Control Panel Builder position at Service Pump & Supply Inc?
Service Pump & Supply is looking for an experienced electrician with strong instrumentation and troubleshooting skills to join our customer-focused team. SPS has been solving tough water-related challenges for more than 40 years, and we succeed because we put service first. Our service technicians thrive on getting customers what they need when they need it, whether that means building control panels in the shop or providing crucial on-site help in the middle of an emergency.
As part of our team, you will do quality work and build strong customer relationships. You won’t get stuck in a routine because you’ll travel to customer locations for on-site service work and also build control panels in the shop. The work in this full-time position is physically demanding and is done in both indoor and outdoor conditions. It requires movements that include bending, twisting, stretching, stooping, and kneeling, as well as the ability to work from ladders and lift loads up to 50 pounds.
Most of the time this is Monday-Friday, 40-hours-a-week work, but to make sure we provide quality service to our customers, team members work an on-call schedule that can require availability after hours, on weekends, and on holidays.
Compensation Commensurate With Qualifications And Experience
Benefits:
Clean drug screen
Valid driver’s license with good driving history
Good service makes us strong. Talent makes us competitive. If you can offer both, we want to talk to you!
